Martin is the founder of the MJBiz Group. In his 35 years of global corporate experience, he has found that 80-85 percent of business functions and problems are similar across all industries. Salespeople are salespeople. HR is HR. A business plan is a business plan. All in all, the basic principles are the same.
The issue is that business owners consistently fail to develop a strategy or set goals. There is often little or no accountability and a lack of focus. And when this is combined with other common issues like poor time management, a failure to communicate and inconsistency of approach, a company may struggle and even collapse.
The MJBiz Group strives to remove a business owner from being a roadblock to his/her own success, by working with them on the key factors essential to the success of any business.

How does our Process get started?
We have an initial meeting to identify issues and evaluate if there is a potential fit on both sides where we can be of help and benefit.
If so, we then prepare a detailed proposal that demonstrates how we can help you achieve your personal and business vision.
About Martin Brownhhill
Martin is currently the President of MJBiz Consulting LLC which is dedicated to assisting small and medium-sized companies in the development and execution of their strategic business plans.
Martin spent 35 years working for large global corporations in the transportation and IT industries, mainly in Europe and North & South America. His experience was in a variety of Marketing, Finance, IT, and General Management positions. These include Regional Financial Controller (ICL), Country GM Canada (TNT), Division President, North East (Loomis Fargo), COO (Zedak Corp), and CEO (Citipost Corp).
His specific areas of specialty have traditionally been in acquisition, integration, turnaround, and growth projects – often a combination of all. Concentrating on optimizing cost, upgrading product offerings, producing teams dedicated to producing supportable world-class levels of customer service, and spearheading revenue growth. His experience ranges from working with small privately held companies to multi-billion-dollar global companies.
He has spent the last 15 years assisting various SMB companies as a consultant, virtual CFO, or certified business coach. These roles have included a large successful sale, startup development, logistics implementations, systems development, and profit improvement via cost optimization and revenue growth strategies.
Martin has lived and worked in Europe, Australia, Africa, and North and South America. He has been based in the United States since 1983.
He has a BA in Business Studies with a major in Marketing from Middlesex University, is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in the UK, a Chartered Global Management Accountant, and a member of the AICPA.
